Device storage

Data stored on your device

Kcal Crash stores app information such as calorie log entries, presets, settings, favorites, recent choices, and scanned preset material in local app storage on your device.

Apple Health

Optional Apple Health context

If you grant permission, Kcal Crash can read Apple Health context such as energy burn, workouts, and optional profile context for informational tracking inside the app. Health permissions are controlled by you in Apple Health and iOS settings. Kcal Crash does not request Apple Health write access.

Barcode lookup

Barcode scanning and food lookup

When you use barcode scanning, Kcal Crash uses the camera and barcode scanning flow to identify a barcode. Product lookup may contact Open Food Facts to request product information for that barcode.

Apple services

Optional music pack downloads

If you choose to download the optional Arcade music pack, Kcal Crash may use Apple On-Demand Resources to deliver those music assets.

Support contact

You choose what to send.

The Kcal Crash support page prepares an email in your email app. If you contact support, include only the information needed to understand the issue.

Private details

Keep sensitive information out.

Do not include passwords, payment details, unnecessary private health details, or sensitive screenshots in support emails.
